Monwabisi is the lead independent non-executive director of Santam Ltd. He has held executive and non-executive roles at a number of listed and unlisted entities, including SAB Miller, Tiger Brands, ABSA and the Thebe Group. He currently also serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Empact (Pty) Ltd, Santam Structured Insurance Ltd, Santam Structured Life Ltd, Thebe Investment Corporation and Brolink (Pty) Ltd.
