Chapman's Peak Hotel

Cape Town

Most Loved Place to Stay

Beating all competitors by a solid 10%, South Africans (23% winning vote) confirmed that Chapman's Peak Hotel is their Most Loved Local place to stay in a category that included boutique hotels, B&Bs and other local accommodation spots.

Known by locals as “Chappies”, the Chapman's Peak Hotel has been a firm favourite place to stay since laying its foundations in the 19th Century. Location certainly is “lekker” at this Most Loved Local, which is perched on the slopes at the start of Chapman’s Peak Drive, overlooking the Hout Bay valley, the long stretch of beach and colourful harbour. As a place to stay, it offers old-school charm, new world quirks and modern amenities (we also hear that calamari on the hotel’s restaurant deck is tops!)

"It’s a wonderful surprise. When something like this happens you know you’re still doing something right. It’s a real pat on the back for our staff and they can all feel part of the reason why we’re a Most Loved Local."
