The Santam Graduate Programme provides graduates with access to an 18-month programme in order to make a successful transition from university to the world of work. Graduates will be exposed to formal development as well as on the job training; this will include the completion of a SAQA registered qualification that is specific to the short-term insurance industry. Successful graduates will be assigned a mentor to assist with their technical and professional development.

Santam is looking for graduates who are interested in the following core roles:

Client service consultant (Email, Voice & Sales): Johannesburg and Cape Town regions
This role focuses on maintaining existing client structures and effecting changes in contracting arrangements. Providing general client related support to clients (could be internal or external).  The successful candidates will offer world class products and services to clients, whilst achieving sales targets in an inbound and outbound call centre environment.

Insurance consultant:  Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town regions
This role is primarily focused on the issuing of new business/the transfer of existing business and the consultant will at times have to liaise with intermediaries and relationship managers during the course of their work

SOS Agent – Johannesburg region
This role is responsible for the registration and loading of Insurance (Glass and SOS) and Value-added Services claims, assisting Brokers/Clients (Internal /External) with claim enquiries via various contact mediums.  Answering inbound calls and registering claims telephonically (Accidents and value added services), following compliance regulations for Registration claims that are not on the system, by creating an incident and advising client of the disclaimer, and Natis checks / PDP checks/premium validations and various query types.

Qualifications to be considered: Relevant Bachelor degrees - (Graduates with the following majors are invited to apply): Marketing, Communication, Management, Finance, Economics, & Accounting.

Relevant IT Diploma/Degree – Business Analyst, Development, MI/Statistics
