Initiated and launched by Santam in 2021 with 20 pilot intermediaries, this programme focuses on personal mastery, technical and business development skills, behavioural competencies and entrepreneurial skills.

Santam and Financial Intermediaries Association of Southern Africa (FIA) initiative

In a further bid to accelerate transformation in the industry, this initiative provides intermediaries access to specialised training, mentorship, coaching and professionalisation opportunities. Santam subsidises the one-year membership fees for nominated black and female-owned participants.

Santam Intermediary Programme in partnership with ASISA

Santam works alongside the Association for Savings and Investment South Africa (ASISA) on this initiative that drives the upskilling of intermediaries in the fields of business and operational management as well as client management.

ASISA Equity Initiative

Santam supports intermediary participation in this initiative, which funds strategic investment opportunities to transform intermediaries by enabling black brokers to acquire equity. It also helps established intermediaries to grow new business volumes and build sustainable businesses with strong succession plans.
