Employee involvement

Santam encourages employees to enrich their lives and become involved in their communities by offering support to charitable causes.

Santam's Volunteerism programme gives employees an opportunity to become part of sustainable initiatives in communities where they stay. Employees who join the programme and dedicate their time to serve the less fortunate receive a financial contribution to put towards their worthy causes.

In addition, employees have the option to donate a portion of their salary to worthy causes through Santam's partnership with Payroll Giving. The organisations that benefit include Reach for a Dream, Cotlands, CANSA, Choc, Ithemba Trust, The South African Red Cross Association, WWF and NSPCA.
