We aim to align our corporate social investment (CSI) with our core business and do so through a focus on youth development, security and entrepreneurship. Through initiatives such as our Child Art programme and strategic partnerships, we give young people the opportunity, skills and security to develop creative and entrepreneurial abilities that will contribute to a brighter future.

Our programmes and partnerships include:

• Santam Child Art
• School Safety programme in partnership with NICRO
• Entrepreneurial development in partnership with the South African Institute for Entrepreneurship (SAIE)
• School feeding programme in partnership with Schools Environmental Education and Development (SEED)
• Employee volunteerism

As a member of the South African Insurance Association (SAIA), Santam also supports initiatives by SAIA and the Financial Services Board to drive financial education within the insurance sector.

How to submit a project proposal?

The project proposal can be provided either in a hardcopy or electronic format. It is strongly recommended that requests for funding be submitted at least four months prior to a project's anticipated start date.
