EXTENDING INFLUENCE FOR THE BENEFIT OF SOCIETY
The collective influence of business on society is significant. In South Africa, large corporations are in a position to play an important role in societal well-being. Companies can choose to limit their activity to the confines of their immediate business or, as in our case, to take a longer-term view in seeking to positively influence behaviour and prospects within our sector and society at large. With people becoming more conscious about the impacts businesses have on the world around them, it is imperative that Santam plays its part in making a significant contribution.
